The only difference I noticed on the item vendor was Hoary the Snowman minion is available for 6 green gems instead of needing 1 yellow, 1 red, and 1 blue.

Where are the hair extensions mentioned in the LL? Please do not say it is the moustache. When asking for hair extensions in a salon or store they will not give you a moustache...at least I would hope not lol.

I wouldn't be surprised if they are in part of the hotfixes that they will be implementing tonight.

This was the only change I saw and I believe it is the only change we will see.

I think you were mistaken OP... In the text you listed it says:

Certain seasonal goods attainable via daily quests will become available on Wednesday, December 24, 2014 at 7:00 a.m. (PST).

These certain seasonal goods were mainly the snowman minion and the gift bag that takes three stones to get. Think about it; you needed to do the dailies and get three different stones each daily to get these minions. Top that on with how difficult it is to find some of the trees because certain people in wards get to pick which tree they want to put up. If you chose to avoid the three player provided trees, you could just get the green variety of stone; but then since the event started till just today you HAD to get three different stones for those two specific items.

These certain seasonal goods have just been made easier to get is all.

On top of that; all you see on that event page is what is offered through the event. There were NO other items on that list that aren't already on the vendor therefore there were no extra items. The text doesn't even say "New Items will be made available." It only says that certain items only available if you do the dailies correctly will be changed.
