Warrior Infuriated, is it worth holding on to?

So, sometimes I like to hold onto my Infuriated buff for that extra 10% crit when I'm OT and simply dealing damage, like in T10 for example when I'm just smacking the boss until a mechanic comes that requires me to either blow it on IB, or Infuriate (The skill) is up and I can blow IB and get my 5 stacks back immediately.

I know 10% isn't an amazing amount, so I want some opinions. Assuming you're just dealing damage for a while as the OT (And you're keeping defiance on for whatever reason), Do you blow your wrath stacks on IB every moment they cap? Or do you hold onto it for the Infuriated crit bonus for your other skills?

(This is all under the assumption that you're keeping defiance up for whatever reason. Which for you leads to higher overall damage?)

Edit: This goes for MT'ing too. When you don't need to hold IB for big hits, and are trying to maximize your damage with defiance, do you hold Infuriated, or do you IB every chance you get?

Its not. You rarely need Defiance in T10. While both of your adds are alive put it on, when one dies take it off. If you are eating the charge put it on, then immediately take it off. 10% crit is not worth holding onto stacks nor sitting in defiance.

This would also be worth asking from a MT point of view, where you don't need to hold IB for big hits.

Sorry, didn't mean to change what I said up there right as you were reply to it, thought I could quickly edit it. This goes for MT'ing too when you don't need to hold IB for tank killer hits.

So you would blow infuriated on IB every chance you get for the IB damage over the increased crit? This is all I really want opinions on. I know it isn't worth sitting in defiance when you're OT and not in need of it, however that's beside the point.

If, and ONLY IF I were staying in Defiance when I'm OT'ing and had a full stack of Wrath, yes I would blow it on IB the first chance I get. One reasonable situation I can think of it happening is immediately after tankswap if I have 4+ stacks of wrath I just get that fifth stack and blow IB with it. Then turn defiance off for better damage output.

But yeah, if 10% increased crit were to matter, then turning off Defiance should become an option.

The only time where you need defiance as OT is before Swapping tank and doing the berserk combo. My berserk combo in OT goes this this. Heavy>berserk>maim>inner>eye>Heavy>skull>Defi>infu>Inner>off defi>BB>(Fracture depending on SS)
