    I would love a reroll system. Absolutely should not offer the same item twice in a reroll. All we get ever is dex gear. Never monk, never fending. Our ninja's offspec dragoon is better geared than our monk. Our tanks are geared entirely in poetics with zero FCoB loot while our bard and ninja are i125 now.

    Same issue in SCoB. We cleared T6 almost since 2.3 hit and had to go back and farm T6 after the lockout was removed to get the monk helm. She couldn't even equip her HA claws until 2.4 due to missing the accuracy on her helm.

    Love, love, love the idea of a reroll system.

    Do you have any idea how frustrating it is to be clearing the same content weekly while trying to push progression only to get the same drops over and over? It's a huge waste of everyone's time to get drops no one can use and it hinders progression into later turns. We can't all be like Lucrezia and most groups need those upgrades to clear harder content.

    Instead of a Reroll System SE should go the route that WOW has taken. Drop Gear tokens.

    Gear Tokens just like the ones in Snowcloak, Sastasha and Sunken Temple. except mod them a tad.

    The gear tokens will share a few classes like;

    PLD/WAR
    SCH/WHM
    BLM/SNM/BRD
    MNK/DRG/NIN

    Now these are just examples of the Job Groups, but this way loot will not be wasted as much, and it will still have the RNG factor if say your Healers alrdy have the Helm, and the healer Helm token keeps dropping.

    So now no more Drg shit dropping when no1 is a Drg Main.

    Where as nothing will be wasted, and its on the group to decide who gets what.

    Yep, it's a trash system.
    My group has been clearing since week 1, with T12 clears since week 3. Everyone in my group (casters, monk, tanks, healers) has been getting a decent amount of drops except for me. We've only seen two pieces of aiming loot - ring and earring - and the earring went to the ninja who has now switched back to monk. Safe to say, it's getting rather frustrating.

    System fine. Even with 0 drops you can hit 130. Drops are just a bonus to keep you playing until next teir. Any other system would automatically cause more player boredom.

    You should raid either because you enjoy playing with the group of people you raid with or because you enjoy raiding. Not because you want phat loots. Trust me you'll be happier.

    Im all for a re-roll system! But think the way it is now, is fine. If you are getting screwed with gear then maybe your raid leader is not prioritizing carbontwine's and carboncoats fairly. In our group (same as many others) before we need/greed on anything we talk it out even if its a peace i need like a caster drop and im the only caster in the group i wait for instructions. When it comes to coil people get greedy with loot and even if they have say 4 dreadwyrm left side peaces they will still roll on the twines and coast with the mentality of highest roll wins. Many players are fine with the current RNG system because of fair raid leaders making sure gear is distributed fairly.

    In addition we have a BRD in our FC different raid group that only has 2 BRD drops and his MNK is better geared then his Main, they don't even have a main MNK. What im trying to say is that I too am upset with the current system and its time something is done about it!

    yeah right. then why not remove coil because with 2.5 everyone gets i130 anyway? why even have it then? look how few people do savage coil. reason : NO USEFUL REWARD. its the majority of players reason to raid to get thier damn loot.

    also this time loot loses all its use once 3.0 hits. so even more reason to end rng madness with drops. RNG based progression is NEVER a good way of progression and never was. its just the perfect way to frustrate players to no end and maybe make em even quit because they feel its pointless.

    While I agree raid loot should be changed somehow, I don't think SE should do tokens. Token system is the most boring and unexciting loot system ever invented, I'd rather we keep the system the way it is now than have tokens.

    As for my raid group, our Caster and one of our party members offspec had EVERY SINGLE pieces of caster items. Meanwhile the loots for Mnk is 0 and yes, I am the monk >->. CASTER /BRD loots all day long, even my Caster is more gear than my Mnk .-.!!!
