The relic chain isn't for everyone but there's a lot of people who think it is... That's where the complaints come from. I'm experiencing it slowly. I don't love it tbh but I realize I'm not really the target gamer for it. I don't mind the grind, I just hate the RNG elements such as atma. Books, alexandrite, light (my current step) don't bother me as it is something nice and slow to work towards.
