So BLM as AOE covered, MNK has single target... What does SMN bring?

Question about DoTs: is the damage they deal based on your INT or is it a fixed rate based on the enemies HP? If the latter, then I think the question should be "What does SMN bring that SCH doesn't?"

DoTs are potency based and are effected by the casters damage stats (DET, CRIT, MD, INT etc)

All that's needed to make the Summoner on par with other jobs is to reduce the cool down on Enkindle to 60s so we can climb out of our plateau.

Part of the trouble of balancing SMN damage by just tossing extra potency at it is that SMN damage is awesome at lower iLvl's compared to other classes.

If they are going to do anything, it would be nice to have more of a permanent fix that just requires small adjustments to the damage equations each major patch like the other classes.

Putting Enkindle on a 60s CD may increase pet damage by 18-25 DPS @ i110-i130, but it will cause SMN to wreck every other class @ <i90
