Can we get a Starlight Celebration extension due to PSN outage?

I resubbed on day before Christmas and started the event, but PS4 has been down since the evening of Dec 24th. I have never missed an event achievement in my history with the game, and if PS4 is not back up on time to finish then not only would I not be able to get the achievement but also the things they are selling in the shops. Actually, due to the daily limit on the event quests to 1 a day each city, it will now be impossible for me to get all of the items in the shop without an extension.

Given Heavensturn starts immediately after Starlight Celebration, I doubt that anything can/will be done at this point.

I might try that today since some people are able to login as Sony said servers are gradually coming back up. Sony actually took them down for maintenance so even after attacks stopped it was down.

The DDoS attack made me really dislike holiday events with daily quests. I'd rather just waste a few hours all at once to get all of the event items.

The community team that responds here on the forums are all on vacation till start of of year, and they already have a new event planned to start on the 31st.
