What is the point in undercutting a hefty amount if your item is going to be sold in an hour tops anyway?
Not going to make it sell faster. It's only going to lose everyone (but the immediate buyer) gil.
I've noticed though that most people complaining aren't really in markets with high turn over.. That's why they see severe undercuts and that's the point I've been trying to make also.. If you're getting undercut severely, there are other reasons than people's stupidity that's causing it. Better to try and figure out what it is so you can combat it more effectively next time, or you can be defeatist about it and say either

    a. Everybody else is out to get me wah wah
    b. Everyone else is stupid and they don't know the right price for the item.

Neither attitude is gonna put money in your pocket, the only way to do that is to see what you can do to make your item sell.

If it's a crafted item, seling it puts you back to work and you can run your factory full capacity so to speak
Look around in Mor Dhona and see how many crafters just loiter around. I'm one of them, so I try to sell things quick and I can make another one and relist.

Well, usually I'll have a stack and sell off of that, but point remains the same.. I try to sell at a lower price just so I can keep crafting more.. Once you've eliminated pve/pvp there really isn't much to do other than craft more and I've noticed I'm not the only one.. I've met quite a few 4star crafters that don't participate in combat contents.

Tbh, I once thought that I would eventually see the end of demand since most items in the game are not consumable, since once a person has purchased however many he needs, he won't buy anymore and thought that's when I'd stop crafting and get back to gearing my WAR and go to dungeons again.. But I don't know what it is, the demand simply won't die out..

RANT: I was really hoping for some new recipes in 2.55 so I could work on those. But it looks like the patch doesn't include much for crafters other than recovering FC3s lost in manual 2 tokens..
