What I DO know is that markets and pricing are based on what a consumer wants and what they as a whole are willing to pay for it. Not what a seller WANTS to sell or what they feel it SHOULD sell for. If you insist on farming/crafting an item that the market is flooded with, you're obviously not going to make much gil from selling it. It doesn't matter what it sold for in the past. Right now, it won't sell for that. Farm/craft something else. Do some research and you will always be able to find a niche market that needs supply. That's where there is gill to be made. If you don't want to study the MB and price trends to gain a better understanding of how it works, that's fine. But you should't expect to have success when working with a system that you refuse to understand.
