I don't think anyone here knows that crashing a market, buying everything up, and reselling is a legitimate tactic.

I used to see it often in NQ Dezmal Tomatoes.

Having two characters, each with 3 retainers I could easily indulge in that kind of market manipulation but I don't.

I do scalp....

And that is very strategic... I've done this in the past with rarer items that I post and someone tremendously undercuts me. I will buy the item and resell it for its actual listed price/value (from recent price history) on a different retainer and sometimes even under-cut my original product a bit to compensate for the immediate gil loss in purchasing the other item in the first place.
