Dungeon finders have the opposite effect. They make the game less social by repeatedly pairing you with people you'll never see again. This means your behaviour has no consequences and the server community is destroyed when a practically infinite number of outsiders are introduced to dungeon groups.
Well I said dunegon finder (closed server) and cross dungeon finder (cross server) so there is an option to still add a dungeon finder and keep it a closed community system.Dungeon finders have the opposite effect. I don't think the cross server dungeon finder has destroyed WoW at all, it does what it was meant to do, allows players to quickly find people to do a dungeon without waiting hours for a party, If you are happy to wait around all day then good for you but I don't have the time to sit waiting for a party.
Of course a simple LFP flag which you can put up outside an instance entrance would suffice for the time being.
