    Next Fanfest Cosplay Help

    I'm currently planning out this for next Fanfest as it will be my new main and looks like it won't be overly cumbersome either. However, since I am still VERY new to the cosplay world (4 cosplay ever, 1 bought 3 made and looked... tacky) I'm hoping for some tips and rules for some parts.

    Firstly, the gun. I was thinking of snagging a NERF blaster after X-mas for a good sale and then Paper Mache the proper shape before (struggling) to paint it. **ADVICE WANTED**

    Secondly, for rules. Something like the bit / bot / drone / turret. What are rules in place for something like this? Does it have to touch the ground? Can it have power but only spin so fast? etc etc. **EXPERIENCE REQUESTED**

    I'm sure I'll have more questions as I tackle this project head on. So please bare with me and hopefully this will turn out great.
