I agree with several people above; the statue is pretty much why I'm not bothering with the collectors edition. Maybe if it was something more iconically Final Fantasy than a generic dragon. A tarot deck would have been super cool(I'm strongly eyeing up Astrologian for my next job). As it is I'm on the fence about even bothering with the digital CE; the shown items are something I like but could live without. I'm still considering digital because of the move they pulled with the fat chocobo and moogle minion last time.

I'd like more digital items and less statues. Every developer seems to want to include a statue in their Collector's Editions these past few years. It drives the price of the CE up an additional $50-$75, and I really don't understand where they expect players to permanently display all of these bulky items.

It's a shame, because I prefer physical CE's over digital ones, but the statue trend is driving me away from the former.

you can send me your unwanted statues from the physical CE's, I'll happily display them in my display case I have in my living room

Oh yes that Dragon Fig looks beautifully crafted I am 100% getting a CE Physical copy. I like how it opens up into a cityscape behind it...with some proper lighting it could be a great piece of have. Plus if there is room I am totally adding little mini figs trying to fight it. (I know I'm like 12 year old pew-pew)

Ill be getting CE phys. Most likely. Only real obstacle for me though is, will it be delivered in time? I had preordered FFXIII and i got it week after release. Really dont like to start the expansion a week later if i can get it digitally in time.
I dunno, i'djust wish they would ship them so its early (not like we could get to play it before they patch the game anyway).

You can buy the digital edition if you don't want the statue.

No, some people only wants the classic things, pretty box, artbook, OST, that doesn't cost much, and not a 50 $ statue. Nothing to do with the hidden cash shop digital collector.

I'd not want the sub code for the simple fact that it may be counted as free time and screw up even more the veteran reward times. As for the tarrot cards I've so wanted the levequest cards but ones that are thick and made out of like glass and metal. I want to say they have keychains like this for sale (they may be plastic for those not sure) but I really want full sized ones.

CE's really need to not be allowed to include cardboard goodies as anything other then packaging.
