but ive read that u need 80,000 seals total for bombard cores for the current relic quests does it still count if i buy them without being on that stage of relic quest??

thought id ask 1st since im nearly capped at seals n was curious if i could prepare in advance since im 3 short or my novus lol *long way to go = =

wanted to try n save some time when i do eventually get to these steps

(1) By completing a dungeon, there is a small chance that you will obtain the associated item.
(2) The Main Quest goes under your Journal under Completed Side Story Quests
(3) It costs 400,000 gil to get the merchant-sold materials (Brass Kettle, Allagan Resin, Bronze Lake Crystal)
(4) It takes 6,400 tomestones of soldiery to gather all of the Sacred Spring Waters
(5) It takes 80,000 grand company seals to gather all of the Bombard Cores

Don't quote me on this, but I would guess you'd be fine buying them now. I've purchased 3 of the 4 and am not yet able to turn them in. These items just go in your regular inventory.

yeah i just figured 80.000 seals is alot of grinding wanted to try n kill 2 birds with 1 stone so to speak since i farm fates while im spirit binding tyvm for your reply tho much appreciated :3

All the guides I have seen indicate the only things dependant on being on the right quest segment is the dungeon drops.

You can buy the cores ahead of time, as well as the 1600 soldiery spring waters, and the 100k gil items. The quest requires turning them in, not buying them.

Unfortunately, you cannot buy the 1600 soldiery spring waters or the 100k gil items until you're on the quests requiring them. I would have loved to get those out of the way early like I did with the cores and crafted items, but they are unavailable to purchase until you actually need them.

You might have to be past the quest right after Nexus, but you can buy them before you have a quest asking for them.

i should prolly stop wasting sol on alex maps since im stocking alexandrite for 3.0 and keep it for those items ._.
