    Just noticed something about fishing...

When trying to catch big fish, it is easy to tell if the fish you've just caught is going to get away or not. This only works if you sit while fishing:

1 - If when you try to hook the fish, your character stands up, it means you've got the fish.

2 - If when you try to hook the fish, your character remains sit on the chair...it means the fish will get away.

This isn't something that helps in any way lol, but at least you exactly know what's coming before you wait until the 0.01 last second to see if you've managed to get the fish so you don't make expectations and generally get disappointed less.

    I stand while fishing.

If the animation does not go into the sideways pull, the fish is lost.

Yea, while sitting, as soon as its THE catch (though this also applies to non-green 2star fish!) your character will stand up.
Thats always the fastest way to know you finally got something~ Though in some cases, like Endoceras and Helicoprion, it might be the OTHER big fish thats the same mooch and always the same weather~

And some non-green one-stars as I sadly found out tonight going for Hannibal in N Thanalan only to end up with 4 Alligator Garfish
