    Linkshell Management and Sorting Options

Hey there guys, this is my first time giving feedback, hope this is right:

I'm part of an LS that gets lot of members run through it. Every month or so we near max capacity, and try to keep the active guys around while those who stopped playing or who have moved to other LS out of it. Unfortunatley there is NO way to boot a member from the LS who is offline. So what we've had to do is create a new LS, wait a week or two to hand out the new pearl, then break the old one. This process gets pretty redundant, tiring on all the officers and members as well.

If you could add an option to remove a member from the LS while they are offline, and maybe stuff like "last online 3 days ago" ect, I would be super happy!

The switching between linkshells to talk via menu can be a hassle sometimes. Would it be possible to incorporate a /l1 /l2 /l2 ect, for easy switching between LS for chat mode? If just by having the LS in your possession allows you to view messages, we should be able to quickly respond instead of stopping to exchange shells.

I've also noticed that when you have two stacks of an item that are both not 99, there is no way to combine them together to free up inventory space. Only way that I have found to fix this is trading to a retainer, and then trading back. You can understand how much of a headache this can be. Could it be possible to implement the combining of stacks by using the standard Sort On/Off button? I realize doing this automatically can be a fickle thing, but being able to do it ourselves would be nice as well.

For the rest of the game, as an avid ff11 player for many years, I have to say you've done a great job (since I've been online) of making the game unique enough not to feel like FF11 but keeping a sense of familiarity about the game that each final fantasy game has had. Keep up the great work and keep up with the developement!

I did a quick search to see if there was another thread, but nothing came up that wasn't a mindless rant. Figured they'd want someone who knew how to type to give feedback too.

I added a tidbit about switching between linkshells as well. There are a lot of tiny things about the UI that bother me, the actual game play I'm pretty ok with...

I registered to post on these forums today to make this point exactly. More people need to comment on it as I don't think there has been enough attention on this topic- PLEASE we need to be able to remove offline members. My linkshell also has a high turnover rate with people temp quitting the game and the linkshell list fills up fast. FFXIV definitely needs as much sense of community as possible and it's hard for linkshell leaders to help FFXIV foster and grow a sense of community when we are lacking simple tools such as this to do so.

Being able to talk easier between linkshells as the main poster stated also could use attention. /l1 /l2 /l3 sounds like a wonderful way to address our side of it in talking to multiple linkshells.
