Dat Lilty.
Did they say what the release time frame would be? I could swear I heard it would be around 3.0 but wanted to confirm.

The directx11 bucket XD hahaha, dying about that.
I love the shine on the wood floors and the water is very pretty. No game-changing resolutions like they were up front about it, but it'll be something nice to look forward to when the time comes.

Looks amazing! I'm really looking forward to this graphical update. *considering a new 780ti*

Actually Yoshi himself stated in a live letter that DX11 wouldn't be that much of a noticeable difference from DX9, that main difference would be with the water.

I hear you, but I also saw noticable differences in wood paneling and the stone walkways in Ul'Dah from the video. I figured it won't be like 'omg!' quality, but it'll be a nice 'oh hey, pretty' when its here.
There quite a few differences besides water...tessellation, better lighting ect. just pay attention to the video closer its hard to notice some because of the quality of the video. Speaking of the video has anyone come across a higher quality one?

I'm just wanting more usage of my gpu and less of my cpu. It would help out us that use multi-monitors and multi-tasking.

I would wear the dx11 helm.
