so i have to devote my self to a city that i do not want to devote to just for the sake of them giving items that i want? (eg. Lancer's weapon in Limsa??) :< why Gridania no give Lancer weapons! :<

How do you know that the Gridania company don't give you a Lance after you joined them? You have only seen the recruit shop list, not the whole list. The NPC say this to you, too. They only show you the whole list after you joined them.
