Please allow us to join all three companies

I know the team planned to let us join only one company, and I can see the value of making a choice, but honestly I think the game, at the moment, needs to make every little piece of content available to every player. It's not like we have too much to begin with.

Maybe let people chose a "primary" company, and give them the ability to join the other two as "guests" or something similar, allowing them to still rank up as normal (doing all the quests and enjoying cutscenes and such), but limiting their access to some of the rewards that should be given only by the primary company. For instance chocobos and such.

This will also avoid people chosing a company according to the rewards, resulting in companies only by players that have favored classes compatible with the rewards given (for instance as it stands now every gladiator would join the Ul'dah company).

No..because if you don't start the value of joining one company only now, regardless of lack of content, then later on there won't be any value to them at all...

Keep them how they are...and wait for more content.

Why should there be a "value" in joining a company? We're here to enjoy the game (all of it), not to look for a "value"

Also, unless all cities will give rewards for all classes, we'll be pretty much forced (or at least encouraged) to join the city with the rewards we want unless we can join all three. Which pretty much voids the idea of choosing freely.

They could just do it like XI if you was with bastok on campaign and you wanted to buy an item from sandy you had to pay an 20% increase for the item you wanted

But that would defeat the purpose of having pride in one nation... I loved that about XI. I was a Sandy Taru when most of my ls buddies were all Windurstians. I remember years ago when "Lastok" was a running joke and we'd always wait to see the weekly results to see how all the nations were doing. My friends and I had a laugh one day when Bastok finally took first place.

I would like the idea to be able to join all three after certain circumstances have been met, but not able to change company without consequence.

You forget that you were always able to switch allegiance later on. For a good price and dire consequences.

Uh yeah no I didn't forget you could switch. I'm commenting on OP suggesting we should experience all of them at once rather than being able to switch down the line.

I'm all for having the option of switching Companies in the long run, just not with being able to experience all three at once despite having one as a focus and the others in a minimal capacity.

ahh i see. My bad, i thought you just didn't know or something. lol but with that said, there really wouldn't be a reason for three separate companies to exist in the first place, ya know?
