I just started adding things to my armoire and am dumbfounded by what can't be put into it. I think we should be able to store ALL glam items in it. I would change the unique/ untradeable tag and make it such that it automatically doesn't allow you to store duplicates by default. To prevent people from using it as just free extra storage, have it restricted to level 1 gear that can be stored inside unless they are tagged as event, AF or special gear, whereby any level of gear with these tags can be stored inside. This way, I'd be able to store my level 1 glam items such as spring dress in the armoire too. I don't see why glam items don't belong in the armoire in the first place. The game now keeps throwing glam gear at us and very, very soon, we won't be able even store them in our retainers.
Edit: They also need to add a furnishings tab now. Since they're adding event furniture too, I need a place to store them after the holiday season is over. Please SE. Either give us more free retainers or update your armoire feature. My retainers are bursting at the seams.

...better yet, just add a lot more storage option for us. With multiclassing, with glamours (considering both the number of items that can be glamoured and the way the system works, ie. you have to actually own what you want to project), with preparing for the future - it's simply ridiculous that we lack storage so much. I don't know why the retainers have to have their own inventories instead of us just being able to have a chest in the inn room (for example) that's accessible by them too.
Yeah, yeah, I know - hardware limitations. Well, upgrade it then, I'm getting tired of hearing that excuse to almost every feature that's being asked.
You still cannot buy the unique lvl 5 armor you get from class quests at the scavenger. Or the garlean disguise you have to make for story.
------
The bigger problem is some of us like to collect armor sets, but even with 4 retainers, there is only so much room to keep them. And also being a crafter it's like murder on inventory space. There needs to be a way to save the sets for the future. It's not as if it's easy to re-aquire the gear. And the dungeon drops mixed with mat drops, make it negih impossible to look for those sets now.
Yep I know, definitely in this boat, my retainers are filled to the brim with pieces of gear I might end up using for glamour that I don't want to get rid of because it'll be either a pain to get again or cost a lot of gil :/You still cannot buy the unique lvl 5 armor you get from class quests at the scavenger. Or the garlean disguise you have to make for story.

Do you think they'll ever let us put our relic weapons inside the armoire?
for the people saying you can't put it in due to it beinging tradable most of the stuff you can re-buy again from calamity guy.
this x1000 my retainers are so full, we really need to more storage in general, I'd buy more retainers but SE won't let me!!!
They need to add that Item Log thing they talked about before.
Make it so that anything stored in it is consumed but we can then use said log for glamours.
I wish it would be explained why items aren't flagged to be used with the armoire at the time they are created. It's annoying to wait months to put a vanity piece away.
