have a question about expansion

if i play a physical copy of a realm reborn and i buy heaveansward as digital download (like buy 3.0 from steam for example) or vice versa


will i still be able to use it together to play the game or it not work that way?

I don't see why it wouldn't. Most other MMO expansions just add their data into the original installation folder.
