Astrologian Speculations! How will it fit in?

I notice a lot of people are talking about an RNG draw function when it comes to the cards, however I personally can't see this being a thing for the following reasons. Look at the screenshot with the cards:

- All of the card faces can be seen by the Astrologian
- They are blank.

So with these two pieces of information I would like to propose that the cards are little more than a physical conduit for spells to be cast on in the same way a SMN/SCH writes in their book. You could think of it like this: (continued in next post as couldn't fit both sections in even after trimming the fat.)

Also there would be the case that healers rely on consistency to be able to do their job properly as well. Could you imagine a healer where some of their important moves relied on RNG on wether they could use them or not? It would make end game raid a nightmare. So yeah, agree with you here .
