P.S. Excellent assumption you've made about all raiders, when you're upset that someone made assumptions about you. Hypocrisy at its finest.
I will assume that you're talking about the last part of the quote, because nothing in the first part is related to your comment. People raiding only for the loot will complain because now their loot has no use. Which makes sense because they've beaten the last boss for the moment, and their gear has no use until a new tier comes out. People raiding for the challenge have little to no complains about having big gear (or rather, "should have") as the challenge in FFxiv's fights is mostly unrelated to gearing up. You need some basic gear to meet dps/hp checks but other than that you're fine. Most of the fights are only mechanics and once beaten, there isn't any challenge left until a new raid OR a savage mode come.

SO, my first part was about a player complaining for the lack of use of the gear, making it imo quite accurate. I could be wrong, but not by that much.

As for the 2nd part, with the /sarcasm put here in order to avoid being taken seriously, it was a petty poke to some raiders who want to be on top of the mountain alone. There were countless threads during 2.0-2.2 era where raiders were whining that non raiders had the same ilevel than them, then starting from 2.2 threads from non -raiders complaining about the change of the system (introduction of sands/oils) where a few elitist players (Ellatrix among them, who is know to be a "stop being bad you got no right to complain" type of person) were constantly bashing other players just because "non raiders shouldn't have i110 gear".
I won't go again in the argument, nothing good can come out of it, but I find it really funny that now raiders complain that they have nothing to do with their gear they wanted exclusive to themselves. Hence the sarcasm.
