Thanks Yoshi-P for giving us i130 gear and i135 weapons we have absolutely no use for other than farming content we've been doing for months more easily every week.

that's what happens when players raid solely for the loot. They then come to complain there is nothing to do with it.

But god forbid they dare to give the same ilevel for people who don't raid, people who don't raid have no right to have shiny gear they have no use for either

sometimes I really wonder what happened to the old days of MMO, when people were happy to play together instead of just collecting loot then complaining there is nothing to do with it.

Or..... maybe you could consider that your i130/135 gear will give you a nice lead for the expansion, not requiring to change gear for the first levels and having a good lead to start Alexander. Just like i110/115 gear was serving no other purpose than giving you a head start into FCoB.

I think he was implying that there really isn't a point to FCoB gear if we're not going to use it to progress in content that isn't already on farm. I strongly doubt that i130 gear will give aanyone any kind of "edge" in 3.0 considering it will most likely by replaced by the time we are 52. No one will be using i130 gear to step in to Alexander. So yes. His concern is valid.

DL was the best gear available in 1.0 (as far as I know) and was the stepping stone (read here : bare minimum) for BCoB(yes you can go far with i60ish gear, but not while knowing nothing, that's the point). Unless they really throw everything out of the window (I never experimented vertical progression games' extensions), they might do like they did for 1.0 => 2.0 and i130 will be the bare minimum to go into alexander blindly

You do realize that the entire point of Savage is for fun and to give groups that have everything on farm something new and challenging to do, right? No, of course you wouldn't.

You do realize even in the little part that "won" over Coil, only a few ever went in Savage mode because no shiny to show for your victory ? I am well aware than a few people seek a challenge, and find it fun. I am of those. But I do not forget that us people are part of the past and that nowadays raiders do not seek the challenge but the rewards. The raid gave them that. And now they complain that it has no use. Well of course, you've beaten the last boss. Mind blowing logic if you ask me.

Now about Savage itself. I believe they'll release it at some point, just like they did for SCoB. I'm sure they're just waiting that more than the elite few has cleared FCoB for more people attempting it, if they even try to do it. Or they finally tested the savage mode and found it straight impossible to clear with current gear. Who knows ? Not me.

I did not clear T9. Right.
On the other hand, did I try it ? Yes, twice. 2 hours each time. Have you cleared T9 in 4 hours of training ? I don't think so. Will I clear T9 any time soon ? Probably when my group gets to work on it again, after the holidays. We reached P3, nearly in P4, and are working on having a clear P3. So what ? Do we not deserve to step in FCoB or SCoB savage when we get there because we didn't get a clear before echo ? If so, why aren't the accesses for both not removed from the game at this point ?

But you've been digging, you might also have seen that I got T1-4 before their echo, T5 right after, and then... nothing ? something fishy here maybe ?
