I know nothing about programming, so you might be more informed than I am (I'm curious, do you have experience in programming? Could you show us an example of what kind of coding lines would go into making a change like this?) but workload was only an example.
It's just as likely that the developers have made the choice not to do this because they don't want to. Like you said, how important something is is subjective. They may not view it as at the same level of importance that you do. I think it's fair to say no one doesbut that's passion I guess.
The point I'm trying to make though, isn't that you're wrong for asking for a new feature or that the feature wouldn't be cool, but you're not doing it with a lot of tact. It's the difference between "I would love to see this added, please consider it" vs. "The lack of this feature is why I'm not playing, you don't listen to your customers".
