Personal chocobos might have time restrictions attached to them, limiting how often you can summon them.

Yeah, I remember XI having this, but I'm REALLY hoping that won't be the case in XIV. If I already own the chocobo there's no reason that I shouldn't be able to summon it any time I want to.
They should just make rent-a-chocos an alternative for lower levels and make it so you have to be over say level 40 to have your own chocobo via quest or something.

Insulting people in the counter argument isn't going to change their minds. It will make them stick harder to their opinion regardless of whether or not it's right, and think less of your opinion simply because you insulted them. In essence, if you want to try and change someone's mind, come up with a well thought-out response and don't be a dick.
chocobos will apparently already have some restrictions on them, seeing as how we will need to do a quest for them. Im guessing it will have a low level cap to use them (10+ i would assume, until your out of your first camp its not really needed) and if there was no planned restrictions on the personal ones, they wouldnt even bother with the rentals.Yeah, I remember XI having this, but I'm REALLY hoping that won't be the case in XIV.
