Au Ra is not a fully lizard race (more draconian) but a hybrid one...

Barely hybrid (or not even at all). Just Hyur with some dingledangs here and there (they don't even have claws for hands/feet). If they were similar to the Silurian race in Doctor Who, I'd be okay with that. Because then Yugiri would have had an actually valid reason to hide her face (if anything, she should have tried to hide her tail and then say she was a Padjal... or Alphinaud telling her to do just that if she didn't know what Padjals were). Kudos to SE for making a new anime race, sure. But next time maybe something a little more unique/ugly?

A Padjal with scales on the forehead and the throat and with no ears and (more importantly) not even born in Gridania? Nobody would have believe this story. It only show that you don't know the story behind the Padjals.
