Because paying 50€ (aprox.) for three new jobs, a new race, several new and bigger zones, an increased level cap, more quests, new gear sets, a new raid, etc. (AND REAL tangible stuff if you get the CE, things that you'll be able to keep forever even if your character gets deleted and the servers go down) is the same as buying a mount for a single character for 17€ or a pot of dye for almost 1€. And I'm sure that you'll be able to get tons of gil from selling access to all that to other players, too. Also, they have invested the same resources and development time to make it.

Oh, wait. No, it doesn't, and you can't sell it either. Nice try though.

Sounds like intelligence to me. Unless you consider those crafted HQ 110's I paid for as "p2w" as well, I mean, I didn't make them myself, so surely, the fact that I had someone craft them FOR me because they had the means to, and I had the gil they wanted in exchange is something that not -everyone- can manage to do, right?

reselling your items that you paid for is not pay-to-win. Pay-to-win is offering an ingame benefit above other players for a real-money expense. Dye does not put you above other players, no matter HOW you try to spin it. If they sold gear that was better/higher ilvl than the FCoB gear, THAT would be pay to win. EXP potions. Pay to win. Mounts that move faster than any of the in-game available counter parts? Pay to win. Do you see ANY of that in the cash shop? Not unless you're looking through salt-crusted glasses.

You don't consider trading real money for in-game money pay2win?

It's fairly old news that expansion packs cost money. I ain't even surprised tbh. Still buying it.

No, I do not consider trading items for gil as pay to win.

I'm fine with expansion packs costing a little extra. You get a hell of a lot more bang for your buck than those crazy cash shop markups. And it's content you participate in first hand. You know, stuff you can actually do. Gameplay.
