    Technically he never truly left as at least half of ARR's OST is his work (from version 1.0, and also Soken's remixes of some of his older tracks like Battle On the Big Bridge).

    *still holds out hope that 1.0's Piece of Mind will be appearing somewhere in ARR eventually (my favourite Uematsu 1.0 track)*

    They had him compose Heavensward's theme, but he isn't going to replace Soken as a regular.
