a tricky Lv25 quest

Theres this quest where I need place the striking dummies at 4 locations in South Thanalan, I have done all but one location, where its infested with knuckledancer enemies at Lv28.
I find it impossible at (PGL) Lv25 to fight past to get to the last location, I may have to level up to 28 or 29 in that skill.

How did everyone complete that quest?

Assuming you meant the quest Star-crossed Rivals

I checked on gamescaper questlists and it has this comment: "If you don't have cure then go get it. 8 adds total in 3 waves. you get healed in last add."

Have you taken that cross class skill to heal yourself?

Not done the quest myself so that's best I can come up with but maybe someone who has will have better suggestions

Well, what I do have equipped is 'Physick' which is similar to 'Cure' (I think). I did come close to that final location on one occaision, on the coeurl mount, but was aggroed by 3 or 4 enemies when I unmounted.

Would chocobo companion be suitable for assistance?

If the battle is classed as 'open world', then definitely use your chocobo! It can make all the difference.

If the battle though is an instanced 'duty' though, (where you have a dialogue appear that says something like "Duty calls for <insert quest title here> - if your level is above level XX then your level will be synced. Commence battle?"), then sadly you cannot use your chocobo and have to rely on your own wits, as you have to be solo when entering such a duty.

Usually such battles have specific npcs that will heal you if you're a class that doesn't specifically have healing magic (such as CNJ). But if your battle is out in the open, then make use of your chocobo buddy!

If you use protect on yourself, with psych and you pug heal ability you should be good. Pop all your buffs to mow down the enemies quicker. Let us know when you clear it.

After a few attempts, I managed to get the last location sorted, with the chocobo alongside me, I succeeded in the instanced battle soon after.

Me I cheated, went in there on my level 50 killed everything in the area, then switched
