Seeing the news about patch 1.19 and just imagining what 1.20 may hold is plain to see that the dev were working very hard these past few months. Most of assumed they were pretty slow at fixing this game but it looks like they have quite a lot done but have just been very quiet about it.

Just curious why not play now? There seems to be talk of them allowing existing accounts to remake characters once PS3 comes around. But still, I understand if you'd prefer an actual confirmation from Yoshi-P or the devs on that matter. Though there'd be a lot of angry folks if they didn't allow it...

Because I'm not planning to use my same characters. I play to start over from scratch with just the gil I have stock piled to fund my adventures on a completely new character.

Ah, I understand now. But yeah, hope they release them soon (this year would be fantastic) =)

Talking about that... is there a way to transfer the gil from your current character to a new one? There's no mail system in the game so how would i go about that?

Unfortunately no feature right now, but they said that a mail system is in the works. Right now, gotta use a go-between you can trust for trading transfers.

This is how I did it.

Put really inexpensive item up for sale on Retainer for character receiving Gil.
Log onto character with gil and buy the item.

I'm also hoping soon on the genders so I can start playing again, but not for that reason. SE didn't give us a straight yes or no answer yet to if we'll have a free race change, and I don't want to risk continuing on my current character for nothing.

Yeah I hope we get a confirmation about that soon. If they don't allow it, it'd be like a slap in the face who've stuck through with the game and wanted to try the new genders... I'm personally not going to change mine but it'd be ridiculous if they didn't allow it.
