Achievements to reward Exp when unlocked. (As well as other rewards).

I'm very much looking forward to the achievement system, and I'm hoping the rewards are all the sweeter.

We've already been told that achievements will unlock player titles which is excellent, but I'm also hoping for more. I would love to see achievements come with an exp bonus when unlocked or completed.

Now I'm not asking for gangbusters of exp, perhaps set a limit of 5000 for tough achievements, but it would be another way to help players progress via parties or solo, and better yet, it would come as an unexpected way to level since you won't be counting on that 50000 kill to drop an extra 5k xp on you.

Anyway, with anything this would need balance but feel free to discuss your thoughts on what other rewards you would like to see with the upcoming achievement system.

SE, I have a question.

What will happen to those physical level milestone achievements once that part of the system is removed in 1.19? Will those be removed completely off the Lodestone site or will they still be in there as "feats" for those that acquired them?

They will remain. There are already achievements that you can no longer achieve (the easter event achievements and the 100,000 Gil in a Guildleve achievement) and they remain in your history.
