I honestly can't see the similarity, sorry. It seems, to me anyway, that Astrologian is more like a Gambler class. The cards you use wont be connected with time, but luck. They're both very different jobs.

No. No thank you.

pls GET OUT.

Doesnt look like a Time Mage, does not use time magic, has an astrologian themed weapon...
But sure, rename it Time mage because reasons.
Unless you're trying to reference the theory of relativity, theoretical physics, and the theory of time dilation based on astrological bodys warping time and space due to gravity, I hope you're joking OP. Cause nothing about this says Time Mage.

Astrologian uses Celestial magic; more commonly associated with superstitions, mythology, fortune telling; the positioning of constellations in certain arrangements influencing life events...
So yes, more oriented to luck rather than time.

Considering the astrologers in the observatory in Coerthas scoff at everything you just mentioned, I'm curious to see how they justify that complete 180.
* The sad thing is that FFXIV turned RDM into a turret, and people think that's what it's supposed to be. It's supposed to combine sword and magic into something more, not spend the bulk of gameplay spamming spells and jump into melee for only 3 GCDs before scurrying back to the back line like good little casters.
* Design ideas:
Red Mage - COMPLETE (https://tinyurl.com/y6tsbnjh), Chemist - Second Pass (https://tinyurl.com/ssuog88), Thief - First Pass (https://tinyurl.com/vdjpkoa), Rune Fencer - First Pass (https://tinyurl.com/y3fomdp2)
Actually, an astrologian IS an astrologer.
