I was wondering, how badass would it be to have a female Au Ra in the DRK or WAR outfit ? Delicate creature with epic loads of badassery on the back.

I for one really like the new race and I'll be an Au'Ra femme day one I like my cat, but I identify more character-wise with the new race. They are petite, exotic, and still not overdone yet very pretty <3 I'm not particularly digging the males, but I'm going to wait until I see them in game before I pass any judgement on them. They might end up growing on me. I'm just hoping for a free Fantasia with the expansion, but I'm not going to hold my breath.

Same here. Of course if I can't get my hands on a new fantasia potion I will have to settle for a retainer, but I always go for the most exotic race-class combo whenever I play. That will be Au-Ra astrologian. And besides. We need the insight of living as a half dragon if we want a just conlcusion to the war between Ishgard and the dravanian horde.

Still, I was surprised that we learned the new race like this. I always envisioned the reveal to come in-game from Yugiri. Now I know she looks cute.

really, stand a small Hyur Midlander F or Miqo'te F next to a tall Elezen M or Roegaden M(I think even tall Hyur Highlander M might fit this). if it's at odds with the current visuals it has been there all along. right from the start of 1.0

Heck, when I stand my female Midlander Hyur next to my friend's female Roe, she barely comes up to my friend's character's chest. It's not as if the game doesn't have options for brawny, muscular women as it is. My girl is also pretty much exactly at Elezen armpit height, male or female.
