Heavensward - Buying expansion once or twice for PC & PS4?

I own the base game on both PC and PS4. Of course we all know that in order to play it on both platforms, I had to buy the base game twice. When the Heavensward expansion is released, will I have to buy the expansion twice to get it on both PC and PS4 platforms?

This has already been answered in multiple threads already, but yes you will need to buy a new copy for every platform you wish to play it on. SE has a licensing agreement with Sony which will allow Sony to take a cut of sales for their platform and by it's nature would prevent PC copies from working on their consoles (else they wouldn't make money from them).

Yet I'm assuming I can buy the (Edited)PS3 version and play my linked account on my PC. SE has not officially responded to this that I'm aware of. After all, for 2.0, I purchased the (Edited)PS3 version and it enabled *both* (Edited)ps3 and PC versions.

I meant Ps3 version (which I later upgraded for free to the PS4 ;P)

Were you a 1.0 player? I came in on 2nd closed beta for ARR, and I had to buy both a ps3 version (got the CE), and later a pc version, 1.x players however, if they had the legacy status tagged on their account, from my understanding, did not need to purchase the game on pc.

There hasn't been an official response. Yes, when discussing the topic of buying the game license per platform, but not for an expansion. You already own the game -- the expansion is an EXPANSION of the game that you've purchased. I am not stating this as an official response, but I would hazard that you would only buy the expansion once.

as i would have thought
