ff12 and ff14

So I see a lot of hints of ff12 in ff14 am I missing something is there a conection or is it just the naming

Now the real question is, are they hints of FF12, or are they hints of...?



Cause FFXII was pretty much a rip off of that.

Vaan = Luke
Ashe = Leia
Balthier = Han Solo
Fran = Chewbakka
Dalmasca = Alderaan
Golmore = Endor
The Empire = The Empire
Judges = Darth Vader
Jagd Yensa = Tatooin
Urutan-Yensa = Jawa

Aaaand someone's in the Empire was the father of someone in the party.

Slightly off-topic, but I'll never get tired of making people notice, lol. But yes, there's theories Hydaelyn and Ivalice may be in the same universe at least.
