Au Ra lore, any information revealed?

As the title says.

I can't seem to find a good lot about the Au Ra race, so I was wondering if any of you know some more in-depth information about the Au Ra - regarding tribes; lifespan; traits etc.

My gf came with the briliant idea for me to make seperate stories about our characters and let them merge into one with the whole eternal bonding. But as we are Miqo'te now, and we will change to Au Ra later - it would be a waste of time to create a story which is based on the Miqo'te lore and characters, when eventually they will change.

I hope you guys have some more information regarding the Au Ra. If not, then alas I will have to wait until Heavensward.

This patch will likely have something, but you'll have to wait til the expansion for most of what you want

Yes, we don't know much, although infos will come soon in 2.5 and before the expansions with the naming conventions.
But it's highly possible that they are half dragons, possibly sons and daughters of Shiva or another one that had offspring with a dragon.

My bet is that the Au'ra have nothing to do with the Saint Shiva legend. The Au'ra being from Oathard automatically casts doubt on having any influence on Eorzia before the Doman Exodus that brought Yugiri.

Now on the other hand, it is possible that the Au'ra have some relation to Myracidia since it is hard for me to believe that the Allage mannage to capture every last one of them to seal them in Dalamuld with Bahamut.

But for now all we realy have is speculation.

As I expected, sadly. Alright, I hope that patch 2.5 will bring us more insight on the Au Ra race.
