Wow, some people here are real hypocrites. I did not make this topic while raging or crying, hell, I ain't even mad. Some of you guys are far more upset about me simply creating this thread than I was when I made it. Read: I wasn't upset.

You know what, even if they name it My Little Chocobo, I'm not gonna throw a fit or quit or anything. I just think it's silly and simply wanted to voice the fact that I think it does not fit the XIV universe.

Some people just cannot take any criticism whatsoever.

As for comparing me to giftforce/horse/whateverhisnameis... um, what? I hardly ever complain about this game, and when I do, I do it here... you know... where we are SUPPOSED to voice our complaints...

How is "My Little Chocobo" not fitting to the FF universe, I mean really it is just a name, and can be associated with anything.

Chocobos start out as babies and little chocobos, I could easily see a Chocobo trainer saying something in the manner of....
"Oh look at all My Little Chocobos, they are so cute."
or
"<Player name>! Please help me, something is scaring My Little Chocobos, they can not sleep at night and I fear for them."

I just read in Letter from the Producer 16 that they are considering "My Little Chocobo" for the name of the Chocobo system.

SE, not everyone here is obsessed with My Little Pony like you seem to think. It's one thing to make jokes in reference to it in letters, but please leave this meme out of the game.

If you must, have an NPC reference it or something, but to base an entire game system's name on it? Please. I beg of you. Name it something else!!!

EDIT: I realize the name is not set in stone, and that it could very well be a joke. However, until we know otherwise, I am urging SE to think of a name more fitting to the XIV universe.

Are you kidding me... really? The game is full of cultural references, many of which most people not only miss, but probably wouldn't care/like if they understood them. You're going to gripe about the name of a quest that you'll likely only have to do once, just to gain access to raising/owning a chocobo?
