This thread has a disgusting amount of pony-stuff. I didn't figure FFXIV's target demographic was 6-year old girls yet somehow they seem to have hit the motherload.

Target demographic is just a target and nothing more. If the target demographic of something dictated what people where, I would be an old man, a middle aged woman, a seven year old boy, a frat boy, and a tween girl with a minor case of autism all at the same time. But I'm just a 22 year old man with a wide range of interests.

I seriously don't get why some people here think they have any room to judge someone based on their interest in entertainment when we're flocking around the biggest bomb the main Final Fantasy series has ever had.
Allow me to show explain the lapse in logic with another show out of our demographic.

Is the show bad? Not really.
Does the show deserve as much praise as it gets? Probably not.
Should we spout out cheap insults at each other just because we don't agree if someone likes it or not? No.

I see more women driving them then men. My sis owns one, (I own one, but I'm not a woman... yet.)

Target Demographics are shitty reasons to dictate someone should like something.
