New playable race?

There was a cosplay contest at the Las Vegas show and one person entered as Yugiri. People kept asking "What's under the hood!?" and while on stage the PR guy there (Forgot his name ._.; ) said, "Yoshi, stop yelling 'New race!'". I'm sure there's a video of it somewhere.

Yeah, Yugiri is a member of the new player race. lol

Personally I'm hoping for something original and not one of the races from any of the Tactics games. I'll be pretty disappointed if it ends up being a Tactics race (Viera included).

Imo, current Yugiri is a place holder, since she's obviously just a reskinned miqo'te and we'll get the "real" Yugiri in 2.5.... or SE is going to be lazy about it and the new race will be a reskinned Miqo'te.

Well if they made a whole new body style for teh new race then they would have redo ALL the gear assets in the game to fit that new model.

So, you are probably right, With how much work would be involved in redoing every single item I don't see it as lazy, but time efficient to reuse another existing models body. Otherwise would more than likely take till 4.0 to release it,

Not that I care one way or another, but considering she is already "In disguise" the tail could be a "disguise" too.
