Steps:
1. Find or place a chocobo weathervane.
2. Take a close look at the Eorzean text marking the cardinal directions.
3. Note that the N, W, E and S are all 90 degrees off from where they should be. The N is to the east, the E to the south, the S is to the west and the W is the north.

I haven't personally confirmed it but I assume the same problem exists in the Mists and Goblet subdivisions, as they're also the same map rotated 90 degrees to the right.

I'm in Lavender Beds, and my Chocobo Weathervane is rotated 180º. East faces West, North faces South.

Edit: Unless this is how it's supposed to be. :P The Chocobo is "facing" West and the text at the tail end of it is "W"... I don't know. :P
