I feel like I need to quote myself since you just don't get it.
All content in the game is defeated many times every day. I'm not going to say the netcode is flawless, but it isn't the barrier between winning and losing. That's the player.

I think the problem with that is if the instance server gets full or overloaded, they don't want people to abuse it by afking inside an instance.
why is bad DPS something that should be circumvented and movement not? a lot of bad DPS is caused by movement.Echo is there to allow minor mistakes - things like un-optimal tank cooldown usage, slow healing, or bad DPS. It's not there to actually circumvent learning the fight or supplement something like movement speed/positioning requirements - and for that there's still nerfs to many fights.
Learn the fight or quit, there's a limit to how much babying should be acceptable.
who determined bad DPS as minor? where is the line drawn and who sets the limit?
"or quit" is not something SE or any player should want.
if the fight already has echo in it, who really cares. movement speed increase would have been a lot better than all the mechanic changes that were made to Second Coil.

Never sen such a bad argument as yours now... you will write history in white knighting!I feel like I need to quote myself since you just don't get it.

Get rid of the mental block that says "this is too hard" and turn it into "this will be awesome when I kill it".
Something special for you:

All content in the game is defeated many times every day from the same groups.

Never said it was holding me back.I play with a constant 230ms and I don't have trouble clearing anything. I play with people who deal with truly 3rd world internet in Indonesia, Philippines and some have to navigate around the great firewall of China. This doesn't hold any of them back they all have t13 on farm, what's holding you back?
My point was you can do all you have available to improve your connection, but there are barriers which are simply impassable (distance to the server).
Here's my daily life:
I get a 170-200ms doing all the things I listed, If i didn't I could be hitting the 500-600ms.
So the point was, yes ping is a real issue for a lot of ppl and there's just so much you can do to improve it.
It if was just me i would make echo give you 100% more everything except t5 and 9, including movement speed. Just so you get used to being overpowered. Then i would proceed to grab some popcorn and watch you hit a brickwall when you do anything without echo.
Maybe that way people will realize getting spoonfed isn't the solution to everything

Change to NIN or MNK for movement buff

Hm... if there isn't anything they can do to improve their connection/ping/latency, they should evaluate if that makes it worth of paying a subscription for an MMO. Only if that affects their dodge skills. Under different circunstances, learning the fight should do it. Ontopic: I'm against that speed increasement. And instead of repeating what people already said, I'll just quote this:Never said it was holding me back.

Also, stop crying on the forums to make things easier. It's irritating to see fun stuff get destroyed because people don't want to get better and instead want to bring the fight down to their level instead of rising to the occasion.

I fixed it bit
Highest ilevel gear from 1.x is i70, not i55
