How does that effect them? It's frustrating to see how easy people want this game to be. Does no one want a challenge? It is extremely unfortunate for the people on this game/forum to have high latency, but there's nothing that can be done about it - unless you get an internet upgrade (or you're in an area that simply has poor internet.) That, however, doesn't mean everyone should suffer - some people still want challenging content. It would be satirical if SE implemented a movement buff.
And sense its echo, that also means its only going to effect old content, so it really shouldn't be that big of a deal to people. I'd like to remind everyone also that you CAN remove the echo buff if you don't like the hand holding. I'd wager 95% of everyone arguing against additional buffs for echo, doesn't cancel the echo buff on any of the fights though.
Calm down plz...
If you are so proud of, now just because i got interested: Did you beat him with ilvl 60 or 55, because after release the gear of 1.x was just about 55, i wonder how many darklight pieces you had, 4600 life as tank, well i can guess, try it with healer and 2900 life
Maybe 1 or 2 darklight pieces, was mostly af and a few hoplite pieces from AK.
Sure it'd make obsolete content a 'little easier' having 5% or 10% more MS (at max stacks, mind you).
But the point is to be a handicap for players who struggle to complete content.
Hence, the disclaimer. Let's please not argue the nature of Echo.
And memorizing the fight & 'get good' aren't sufficient answers.
You can't always telegraph every single aoe in the game.
Many are random placement or random target.
How terrible that to clear challenging content you need to spend more than 3 attempts on it!
Even 10% echo is already ridiculously powerful. So yes, to quote you, "memorizing the fight & 'get good'" are indeed sufficient answers. The entire experience of someone who would make this thread is probably only TitanX, in which the only thing you need to do is dodge landslide and not get hit by 2 bombs.
Movement speed does nothing for any fight in coil at all, nor will it do anything for someone with bad ping - you'll just be... farther? than you were before on your screen but still dead. Or just finally accept that it probably isn't in fact lag since my static has players from 4 different countries and we kill everything just fine.

^contextually, I meant not for every encounter.
Thinking about it more, increasing movement speed won't do anything to help people who have latency issues, because the issue is not in how fast you move but in positional update lag. I used to get hit by Landslides all the time. I'd see the marker come up, I'd run out of the way, the rest of my party would confirm that I was out of the way, and then I'd get knocked off anyway because of the positional update lag between my client and the server. Once I started using a skill immediately after dodging to force the server to update my position, the problem went away-- meaning that I had always been out of the path when I'd dodged, but the server hadn't registered me as being out of the way by the time the Landslide went off. Running faster had nothing to do with the issue at hand.
Thanks, I live in the sticks myself in a tiny town where the population triples during college months due to the tiny little college here. Dallas is a good hour drive from where I am and with only 2 restaurants, the only real big business here is a Walmart, and what town in this country doesn’t have a Walmart? You actually completely described everything I don’t have. Further, I already said that hardware issues aren’t just going to affect 1 person anyways. I didn’t spend 500 dollars on my CPU, I spent 200, and 200 on a video card, 100 on a case, 150 on a power supply, 150 on a motherboard, and I even used recycled parts from an old computer too (I actually have to replace the old RAM now that I recycled too). My internet costs 75 dollars a month, and gets me up to 100 MB/S speed, hardly fiber optic. I deal with issues when playing the game that are server side or simply can’t be helped, but my point is that I do all that I can do to make sure that the issue is not on my end, and it has helped. These fixes aren’t just for a videogame either, as you so rudely assumed, and I understand and even mentioned that issues on SE’s end can’t be helped anyways, so an echo buff won’t do anything to fix it that, since these are hardware/software issues, not game issues.
You’re a kind of a snippy little twit, you know.
We should all stop using ping as an excuse, seems like everyones connection gets worse the less they know the fight.
One solution I would like to see.
Remove the time limit on instances,
let the group decide when to call it.
