A move speed bonus would really only help so much. I started using a VPN to fix my latency issues, but the VPN alone didn't make me able to dodge Landslides. Practice and knowing when to anticipate them did that.

Granted. I'm mostly frustrated by people who seem to think that the current Echo should be able to solve all sorts of mechanics that are specifically designed to be impossible to power through. I mean, I get that some people need to learn to play, but to hear that a move speed boost would change nothing or that the proper solution is to pay for better internet when some of us have perfectly good internet but have to send our traffic across an ocean in order to play is frustrating.
If you try to dodge on reflex, you'll be too late nine out of ten times. It's about hand-eye coordination, that's what messes people up. They just need the proper training but often don't know how to learn.
Your thread basically asks to simplify content even more. That is what it boils down to. 10% flat in coil seems way over the top. I bet people would still "struggle tremendously" which would lead to the next request: 1 perfect dodge or mana ward for every player, or something silly like that. It never stops..

This is my biggest complaint. Why do you play this game? Honestly ask yourself that question because at this point if you need the game to be THIS EASY to get anywhere then I just dont know what to say. Why play something that presents no challenge at all whatsoever? Why play it when you you constantly need to ask for it to be made easier?
This isnt really a shot at bad players or players with bad ping but im sick and tired of it. Sick of challenging dungeons getting nerfed because people cry, sick of fights being made into nothing more than a breezeway, sick of all the gimme gimme gimme attitudes that have corrupted all the good things about mmo's, and sick of all the little spoiled shit children who stomp their feet and threaten to take their ball home when they dont get their way.
Im sorry but, get better or go home.
Because there's more to the game than the few dodge the rock or die fights? This is my biggest complaint. Why do you play this game? There's a way to make fights challenging besides requiring instant reaction times. Remember the first week of the 3 newest dungeons? They were challenging until you figured out the mechanics, and got some practice in. You can put in mechanics that require skill and attention from the players without having an instant kill if your ping sucks.
SCoB is full of these things but people are still making the same complaints, so either none of you have actually played it or you are looking for the saddest ways to deflect blame. It's like you all got stuck on Titan EM and are still using that as your running excuse for every encounter in the game lol, none of the fights in SCoB are like that and its 90% not being garbage at your job.Because there's more to the game than the few dodge the rock or die fights?

But see, raiding has the exact same principle. The runs are challenging until a group gets the fight down then it becomes farm mode until next raid. In any case I also feel a movement boost is a bit unnecessary.Because there's more to the game than the few dodge the rock or die fights?

God just no. Why don't you just request a button you can hit to just win automatically without trying. At some point people need to actually learn to play the game.
Increasing movement speed can disrupt player rhythm as well.
For example, I've actually had the slight increase in movement speed on NIN screw me a couple times since I'm used to running on other classes. If everyone's suddenly running faster, then that can cause more problems than it solves.
Echo is an anti-frustration factor to ensure people who may not be able to handle certain mechanics are able to beat a fight.
For example, some people are capable of clearing t9 and beyond yet still get hit by titan's weights. They are NOT "lesser players" for being unable to do so, though.
