Chocobo Barding

I wanna know what people think about putting stats on the chocobo barding. I would really like the idea of having dps stats for the dps chocobo, healers stats for the healer chocobo and tank stats for the tank chocobo. Also a barding with a mix of stats for the people that put point on different skills and for people pass Rank10. Think would be an interesting idea and could restrict the barding pieces to the defender/healer/attackes skill points so a fresh or reseted chocobo get overly OP on low levels.

But what about the holiday bardings that are just cosmetic? I like dressing up my chocobo because it's fun and I know it has nothing to do with his performance. I don't want to have to worry about what's best on slot for my chocobo. I just want him to look good.

Mmmm... For that could add a glamour for chocobos too. That way you can have the best stats and the best look!

I feel like the need for this has already been filled by the various foods we can feed to temporarily increase our chocobo's stats. This method also has the added bonus of keeping bardings purely cosmetic, so there's no need for a glamour system.

I'd love to have a chocobo barding that has overstuffed saddle bags and a oil lamp on a raised pole.

Honestly? If they implement a glamour for bardings at the exact same time, I'd be fine with stats on barding like this. Otherwise, it'd just be silly.

Also, special event bardings (Behemoth Barding, Starlight Barding, etc.) would have to be stat-less to make things fair. So the Rank 10/15/20 bardings could have stats, but afaik, that's about it.

Pretty sure the devs have already said bardings will only be for looks.
