Perma Snow & Fishing

I don't expect this to be changed and I know it's only a couple of weeks, but adding perma-snow 24/7 to the 3 city states and housing districts is a massive oversight for fishers who need specific weather conditions within these zones in order to catch big fish.

Couldn't they at least left the required periods (e.g. 4am-6am in Mist for Twitchbeard) open to random weather still?

Guess I gotta wait this one out!

If I recall from past events, it is was still possible to catch Raincallers in snow (meaning you could always catch raincallers throughout the entire event). It might be the same with this event and other fish, and this snow might actually be a blessing and not a curse. I'd go try it out and see if SE didn't give us fishers a little Starlight gift of our own.

Dunno if that's the case, but worth trying it.
