Constant Snowy Weather In Home Nations - Problem for Big Fishing.

So I don't have very many fish left for the Ironworks Rod and I just noticed today that it's snowing in Lavender Beds. I checked the forecast and Snow is forecasted for the full day and the beginning of the next. This makes is impossible to catch certain big fish that have a weather requirement. Sweetnewt, Spearnose, and Raincatcher come to mind off the top of my head but there is probably others...It's probably going to be snowing in these places for the entirety of the Christmas event which is pretty stupid.

If I recall from past events, it is was still possible to catch Raincallers in snow (meaning you could always catch raincallers throughout the entire event). It might be the same with this event and other fish, and this snow might actually be a blessing and not a curse. I'd go try it out and see if SE didn't give us fishers a little Starlight gift of our own.

Haha, I suppose that's possible. I never really thought about that happening. I'll have to try it lol.

For raincallers snow counts as rain. Don't know about any other fish.

Guess they forgot about about fishers when they came up with this event. That or they don't care.

All fish in these areas can still be caught it seems albeit with reduced rates to accommodate for the fact that the weather is constant.

Sometimes drastically reduced rates.

But I managed to get the Stormdancer during snow. Rain 89.8% Snow 10.2%
