    Ties that Bind

    Hi,

I've got a friend who has been pressured into undertaking the quest but hasn't completed it, is there a way for her to get out of the quest?

Either abandon, or IIRC, have to annul(after completion). Once annulled though, things go "poof", items, etc..
    Hope that helps.

Quest can't be abandoned normally, and IIRC? (not familiar with that acronym). She doesn't really want to go through with it at all...

If I Remember Correctly. That kinda stinks. Does she have to go through it with the individual that "forced" her to? Or can she complete it with someone else lol? From what I have seen there is a NPC in the area, Sanctum Acolyte?, that can annul it. Also some folks have reported that discarding the band will annul / cancel the quest.

Okay, it has been confirmed, you need to lose the wristlet(s) in order to back out of the quest before completion. Thanks Synestr and SE's GM team.

    Greetings,

Thank you for contacting FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn in-game support.

In order to cancel the quest for Eternal Bond, you need to give the wristlet back to the Sanctum Acolyte NPC next to the Sanctum Outfitter and Claribel in the Sanctum of the Twelve.

We thank you very much for your GM Call and we wish you a very nice day.

    Regards,

FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn Game Master team

Was a total dick move of who ever did so to muscel your friend into that quest. If this was Aeon online I'd say PK his ass. But alas, no PKing in Eorzia. Even though some players diserve it.
