Sad (and ugly) caster armor

Caster gear (in my own opinion) is really very ugly. You don't need to go bat crap crazy with the design (Syrcus Tower). I'm a girl so I am more interested in female gear. What I would love to see on my blm: something elviraish. Long, slim, and flowy. Don't cut it off at the knees, let it have a train. And be DYE ABLE. Not everyone likes the same color. I don't know jack about game design, but I'm sure SE can come close.

While it's not dyeable, the Halloween event gown is very Elvira'ish. Also, the gold and platinum versions of the wedding dress look awesome dyed in various colors.

I agree, most of the caster gear in the game is ugly. Notable exceptions, the eerie robe, High allagan robe.

I personally enjoy the Augmented Robe of Casting glamoured onto my BLM.

Despite the fact that it isnt dyable, i love the battlemage set design ( i'm planning to us it as glamour when i get to 50 ). I just would love to dye it as red and white so i could look like a red mage ><"

Yea SE should make poll and ask about every design if this is cute or not and if one person says the armor is bad, they should totally scrap the idea and re-do the whole thing. Just glamour your stuff if u dont like it.

the problem is too much of it is crap to begin with.

If they had spent time designing the low level gear (lv 1 - 50), the glamour system would be much more varied and creativity wouldn't be so stifled. I wanted to puke every time I saw the next "new" gear while I was leveling my conjurer. The chest pieces look like stupid smocks. Loads of garbage designs for those levels. They COULD have put more creative thought into those lower tiers, made the end game gear better, (NO COLOR CHANGING A PIECE OF ARMOR AND CALLING IT SOMETHING DIFFERENT!), then maybe the glamour system would be a well organized system. But... it's not. It's flawed and creative control is severely restricted.

I agree most of the caster gears are pretty disappointing. However, I'm really happy with the PvP version of the Brayflox robe, dyed in black. :>
