Dyeable Race Specific Gear

Would love for these sets to be dyeable. I would also love for there to be more sets of lvl 1 vanity gear that don't take millions of gil to buy or ultra rare mats.

Yes. ^^ Even though I wouldn't really benefit from it; roegadyn starter gear is hidious imo. :l Doesn't fit my character at all.

I could be wrong but I believe the Poetics casting boots to be a VERY slightly altered form of the Hyur boots. I bought the Poetiics casting top first and glamoured the Hyur boots to the Evenstar Bootees, and via the Try On option confirmed how alike they are.

Of course that only worked with me being Hyur. And presumably this gear will be dyable once upgraded. So it's definitely possible as here there's an example of something being used, open to more races, and dyable in certain situations; however, it's not what the OP is after as for one thing it would be class locked,

I've never really understood why the starting gear was race locked in the first place. Sure, it's traditional Elezen/Hyuran/Roegadyn/Lalafellian/Miqo'te clothing, but what stops other races from emulating them? And since they have more or less stated that it's perfectly fine to create (for example) a miqo'te with a hyuran name and say they were adopted, why wouldn't they be allowed to wear the traditional gear of their adoptive parents?
And even though they're treating Highlander hyur like a completely separate race from Midlander hyur (including locking Midlanders from Highlander hairstyles in patches - no special new hair for midlanders, haha! - and having separate Hempen underwear sets) they still have the same starting gear...
