Trying to learn T9

Been watching Mr Happy video and I have a question since I'm tanking usually.
When you get to the Golem Phase I know you should kill in this order
Green
Blue
Red
But do the Golems have to eat the meteors or do we avoid this?
Since Mr Happy doesn't really explain if they have to or do we have to avoid them from eating them?
Also any other tips will be great
Thinking about solo tanking because it doesn't look like you need 2 tanks so far
Also for feeding if we feed. Do the Golems have to eat a certain meteor.

Kill order depends on group set up, if you don't have a BRD it can be better to kill the Blue then green. The meteorites are supposed to be eaten, if they are not gone when megaflare goes of it's a wipe, if you have meteorites when going from first to second golems you're going to have a hell safely placing those when dropping them. Single tank strat is possible but is a bit harder during golem phase but is definitely possible.

Not everyone learns that way. Written guides sometimes have trouble explaining exactly how things work.
For example, it's almost impossible to properly explain things like camera angles and boss animations with text for some people.
In reality, though, do both to get the best idea of what to do.

His Ifrit Ex video caused me no end of trouble because I'd find a group and they'd watch that video and do everything wrong. I can't tell you how many times I've seen a DD run eruptions into a healer because he looped his BRD doing just that. Thank you Mr. Happy.

There isn't any particular way to feed the golems, each golem can eat up to 3 meteors, on the 4th one they'll grow bigger and wipe the raid. With the 10% you can feed them Asap without risking any death imo. Also if your DPS is good and you want to take time to feed them you can split your dps after green is down, to be sure every meteors are eaten and there isn't a meteor remaining and the last golem is at 3 stacks. And yes it's better to go solotank, especially with the 10% buff it's really easy now.

There is a priority system that you should try to follow when feeding a particular golem. For instance the green golem does pretty good damage to the tank so you want to avoid feeding too many red meteors (these increase the golems damage) initially unless you know the golem will die very quickly. Feeding these one meteor red meteor before demolish is fine but, avoid feeding it a second red meteor until after demolish hits unless your dps is high and you kill it before this happens. Feel free to feed the green golems as many yellow meteors as possible (yellow meteors increase the golems haste) since eating these meteors cause less of an issue. As for the blue golem, you want to avoid feeding it more than two yellow meteors otherwise the paralyze cast will become very quick and there is less cooldown between them. Feel free to feed this golem as many red meteors as possible since it hits like a baby. For the red golem just try to avoid stacking two reds and yellow meteor until after he casts his cast aoe attack on a random party member. If your bard needs help figuring out how to pick up their golem effectively, let me know. I have a good cool down rotation you can use for each golem phase to pick up the golem even with medica II up.
